Ronnie A. Dotson, Ed.D. is a former Kentucky school superintendent, educator, community leader, and owner of Beaufort Drug Company in Bluffton, South Carolina.

Throughout a distinguished career in public education, Ronnie Dotson served students, teachers, and school systems with a leadership philosophy centered on service, accountability, and student achievement.

Ronnie is particularly recognized for his years of educational leadership in Carter County, Kentucky, where he served as superintendent and helped guide meaningful educational progress.

Leadership & Ownership

Today, Ronnie brings that same commitment to leadership and community service to Beaufort Drug Company. As an owner of Beaufort Drug, he believes independent pharmacy should remain personal, accessible, and deeply connected to the communities it serves.

A Kentucky native with longstanding educational roots, Ronnie Dotson now resides in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, where he remains involved in business, community life, and service to the Lowcountry region.
